On Monday the 28th of August the year sevens went to plastics to learn more about plastic and what it can do. At plastics we made wind spinners. First we picked our plastic and started smoothing the rugged edges. This included sanding and polishing. Then I drilled a hole in it so it could be hung up. The next step was optional, it was using coloured highlighters to decorate our splendid, spinning, spectacular masterpieces! I coloured my wind spinner many beautiful colours! Then it was time to cook the plastic. When it was done cooking it was all stretchy, so we twisted it in a spiral shape! It was really fun and it makes our homes a lot more beautiful!
